Country House Cookery
Escape to the glorious surroundings of Fermyn Woods Hall and enjoy our warm, welcoming and informative cookery days in a beautifully restored Victorian kitchen. They are a very relaxing way to pick up skills and ideas from our brilliant chefs and are also great fun. Whether you are dab hand in the kitchen looking for adventure or a relative novice wishing to learn the art of entertaining in style with a minimum of stress, our hands-on classes and demonstrations with Emma Crowhurst and Lucy Young have something for everyone.

Cookery Days begin at 10.00 am for 10.30 am with welcoming coffee and finish around 4.00pm. The cost is £125 which is inclusive of refreshments throughout the day, lunch with wine, all cooking ingredients and a folder brim full of delicious recipes and Chef's tips.
We have some fabulous courses for you in the coming months including Flavours of Autumn and Game Cookery, Cosy Curries and Casseroles, A Christmas Festive Planner, Bread Making and Patisserie, Mediterranean Spring with all the passion of those exotic countries, Easy Entertaining and a special AGA Workshop. We also have our hugely popular Men in the Kitchen days, a great culinary adventure especially for men who are intent on learning more about the joy of food.
