The Hall and Grounds are also a perfect film location, a wonderful venue for corporate days and home to the annual Brigstock International Horse Trials.
Our Country House Cookery days really are a great day out for lovers of good food. They are hugely informative and full of fun.
With our celebrity masterchefs Emma Crowhurst and Lucy Young we have such an exciting programme for you this year, including the ever popular special day for Men in the Kitchen so do join us for this amazing new series.

Fermyn Woods Hall is a very Special Place to Stay. It is a Wolsey Lodge, one of a collection of private homes where the standard of hospitality, location and individuality of each house and host make every visit exceptional. Our bedrooms are full of character and beautifully furnished and have en suite or private bathrooms. We have home-sourced meat, fresh fish and seasonal vegetables and all are expertly prepared and cooked in one of our two kitchens and served in either the restored Victorian kitchen or the elegant dining room. The gardens and grounds and the Park are all open to our visitors.
Brigstock International Horse Trials, held annually in May, are a key event in the equestrian calendar attracting many leading international riders. With the Cross Country course designed by Philip Herbert, Clerk of the Course at the World Famous Burghley International Horse Trails, Mary and David Laing have maintained Brigstock's reputation as a good open galloping course in a traditional style.
The 350 acre historic park provides the most glorious backdrop to an immaculate arena and magnificent fences and is a wonderful setting for a whole array of trade stands ensuring three great days out for all the family.
