Three years of gentle grazing on the ancient parkland grass at Fermyn Woods produces superb premium beef from our traditional herd of pure bred English Longhorns. With a minimum hanging period of three weeks, the beef is tender and succulent and has a truly outstanding flavour.
The restrictions and time taken to produce beef of this quality from a small herd reared organically mean there is a limited supply available throughout the year and we therefore sell our boxes on a waiting list basis.
Each well presented box contains a good balance of this delicious beef, ready for your freezer: best quality roasting joints, steaks, topside roast, full flavoured stewing and casserole steak and fantastic mince!

Our Swaledale Sheep also graze on ancient pastures and are reared organically. They produce lamb which perfectly complements the Longhorn beef - not enormous joints but full of flavour. We prefer to let the sheep develop rather than market them too young so as to give an improved taste and texture. Our lamb is also sold in boxes ready for your freezer.
