Food has never been more exciting or inspiring than it is today and our special seasonal breaks with "Men in the Kitchen" are designed for husbands and wives, or partners, who would love to spend some time in a glorious country house where the men can also learn more about cooking – and from brilliant masterchef Emma Crowhurst.

The hands on cookery class is based on Emma's book "Men in the Kitchen" and covers all you need to know from essential equipment to choosing and buying produce and preparing delicious, impressive and easy to produce dishes… and it's a gem of an opportunity to enjoy Fermyn Woods Hall and its 6 acres of gardens and grounds.

Our next routine "Men in the Kitchen" day is Sunday 8th February 2009 and we can arrange individual days for groups of friends at any time throughout the year. Please do email or telephone us to arrange your special day.

Cost of the cookery day is £125 inclusive of refreshments throughout the day, lunch with wine, all cooking ingredients and a folder brim full of recipes and Emma's cooking tips.
